Fresh Paws Spa is so convenient since they come right to your house and our groomer Ash does such a great job with our pup Shadow! Our previous mobile groomer moved and we were nervous about finding a new one. Our dog is our baby and is very scared of everything. We have been going to Jill for 2 (soon to be 3) of our dogs for close to 5 years now, I think. I have absolutely nothing but amazing words for her. When my senior poodle, Baxter’s anxiety became too great, she started having me stay to help him through the appointment. The one dog at a time does WONDERS for our dogs and their anxiety and not to mention just the time spent for dog grooming. She’s amazing at what she does. We had our 5 month puppy, Rosie, get her first groom last week. Jill took the time to get to know Rosie first and took special care in introducing her to all the parts of the groom. Rosie was scared at first, but ended the groom by wanting to play with Jill. She smells and feels so good now! Had my two rescue dogs, Mindy and Levi, groomed by Jill for the first time today. Levi, my 65 lb very high strong coon hound mix, had never been groomed before. Because of a bad experience getting his nails trimmed in the past, he became aggressive during the 7 point check at Petco when they touched his feet, so they refused to groom him. My other dog, Mindy, was feral as a puppy so is very fearful around new people. She's an elkhound with a very thick coat that sheds constantly. Jill was wonderful with both of of them. She finished with Levi in a half hour (although we skipped his nails for now - he still has to be fully sedated by the vet for that) and he clearly enjoyed it and felt so good after getting properly bathed for the first time since we got him. Mindy also was very comfortable with Jill, and it's so nice being able to pet her without constant shedding. I definitely recommend Fresh Paws, especially for shy dogs or those with behavior issues.
